22 Mile Rainforest and Waterfall Hawaii ATV Tour22 Mile Deluxe Waterfall Adventure - 3 hours: Our newest ATV adventure is filled with impressive views from beginning to end. Cruising on top of 200-foot Majestic Ocean Cliffsides, ride along the beautiful Kohala Coastline. Your journey leads you to a secluded bay (once owned by King Kamehameha) where there is an unparalleled view of a lighthouse dating back to the 1930’s. Trek high to the mountains through a cool Eucalyptus rainforest and brisk mountain streams. We will make our way up to the oldest volcano of the Big Island, a 2000-foot elevation, and stop at two magnificent waterfalls. Our native Hawaiian guides share authentic history and let you enjoy the extraordinary beauty. We provide refreshments and all of the fun.
How To Find Us...
From Kona: Head north of Highway 19 until you reach the stop sign at Kawaihae. At the stop sign turn left onto Highway 270. Continue on Highway 270 through Hawi and Kapaau town. We are positioned a little past the 24th mile marker, on the left hand side of the highway. Look for our sign “ATV Outfitters.” Take the first left where you will see a refurbished cowboy cabin in the middle of an open green pasture.
From Hilo: Take Highway 19 along the Hamakua Coastline until you reach Waimea. Take a right at the second stop light. Stay on Highway 19 until you come to a small bridge. The road will fork so keep to your right. You should now be on Highway 250. Continue on Highway 250 until it ends (approximately 25 minutes). At the stop sign turn right onto Highway 270. Restrictions
|
Closed-toed shoes and long pants are MANDATORY. Adult riders must weigh 90-300 lbs and be at least 16 years old. Children must be between 5 and 15 years of age and weigh 45-120 lbs. Children will be required to ride with trail guides.
