Hawaiin Walkways Kona Cloud Forest Botanical WalkHawaiian Walkways is a charter member of the Hawaii Eco-Tourism Association, and received the "Tour Operators of the Year" Award in 2002.
A surprisingly short distance from busy Kailua-Kona is a flourishing forest on the slopes of the sleeping volcano called Hualalai. There we find a personal and extraordinary sanctuary that nurtures birds, plants, and the human spirit with its peaceful isolation. Engaging information is presented about the geographic context and the wide-range of plants. Moving quietly through native forest, and among palms, tree ferns, bamboo and blossoms from around the world, your senses are soothed by the cool air, the songs of birds and the thousand shades of green the forest displays. Many comment on the calm and peaceful feeling this environment stimulates.
"I really did see the 'Hidden Kona' that others would miss!" Bob T., Ogden, UT
