Sheraton Kona Luau

You will notice right away that that this luau is very special indeed. Most luaus have fallen into an old and tired pattern, all featuring similar Polynesian dances and songs. This luau is very different.

Not only does the Kamaha ' o feature historical and authentic Hawaiian dances, songs, music, language and chants, but it also tells you real stories about Hawaiian tradition, lore and mythology.

Not to mention where the Kamaha ' o takes place: Keauhuo carries an ancient legacy and tradition dating back to when Hawaii was ruled by Kings and Queens. This hallowed place served as a retreat for the Ali'i (preferred) and still carries remnants of its ancient past (Original temples, springs, water ponds and more...)

In addition to the amazing and unique luau, you will also receive a feast fit for royalty, with exotic roasted pig and delicious fresh fish as a small sample.

No Luau would be complete without the delicious food and drink that make these island celebrations so special, and the Kamaha’o Luau does not disappoint.  Guests will enjoy an open bar, several different seating packages (including one with table service), and a delicious buffet featuring traditional Hawaiian luau fare such as roast suckling pig, poi, and haupia (coconut pudding). Favorites such as freshly caught fish and prime rib also contribute to your culinary adventure.  And, of course, the evening culminates with a grand finale performance on stage.

The Luau is held on the grounds of the Keauhou Sheraton Surf Resort. Keauhou holds a historic legacy dating back to a time when Hawaii was ruled by Kings and Queens. The grounds feature original temples of worship, water ponds which were reserved as royal bathing pools, punawai springs, lush flora and the best Luau on the island.

The Kamahao Luau Alii Preferred Seating Package has everything the traditional package does and more! This package includes check-in 10 minutes prior to stated check in time, a Kukui Nut Lei, an open bar, seating in the front section of our grounds on a first come basis. Dinner is served Ohana/family style. (Plates of food are bought to your table and an explanation of dinner is given to you by your server).
