Big Island Hawaii Zip Line Tour
This Big Island Hawaii Zipline tour is the first canopy zip line tour on the Big Island of Hawaii. This Zip Line Canopy Tour features 8 zip line runs, beautiful scenery and knowledgeable guides. This Big Island zipline tour includes transportation in our 6wd vehicles up the North Kohala mountain side, snack and an adventure across 8 ziplines. One of the zip lines crosses a suspension bridge overlooking flowing waterfalls.
This Zip Line Canopy Tour is an eco-tour. When the zipline tour was constructed, new roads were not cut and no trees are damaged. Bridges and platforms were made with guava underbrush for handrails and recycled wood from a local dealer. The structures are beautifully designed and aesthetically pleasing but safety is our number one priority. The snacks are locally produced and organically grown. Plans are in place to convert all power usage to solar and wind sources in summer of 2009.
Directions: Hwy 270 into North Kohala. When you are in Hawi town you will see a Shell station on your right, take a right on that road which is Hawi Road.
