Swim With the Dolphins in Hawaii

Kona Diving EcoAdventures - Reef & Dolphin Snorkel Tour

Departing from Honokohau Harbor, this Kona dolphin watch takes you along the Big Island’s beautiful Kona Coast. Look for protected marine life, including Hawaiian spinner dolphins, green sea turtles and tropical reef fish.

Dolphins are frequently seen in the areas of Keahole Bay, Makalawena, Ho'ona Bay and Kiholo Bay. This tour takes you around to some of these areas with friendly and professional snorkel guides who will share their knowledge of the area with you. Once dolphins are sighted, it’s time to don on your mask and snorkel and get in the water!

Tour Highlights:

  • Cruise along the beautifully rugged Kona coastline
  • Look for a pod of dolphins
  • Snorkel in crystal clear waters
  • Chance to see other marine life as well, including green sea turtles, manta rays and tropical reef fish

Tour Inclusions:

  • Wraps, fresh fruit, snacks, soft drinks and water
  • Snorkel gear and flotation devices

Please note that this tour follows the method of letting dolphins lead any interaction experienced. The dolphins will choose if, how, when and how long they share an encounter with you.

Tips to follow would be swimming gently (don't chase or pursue) and respect their personal space. Keep splashing, sudden actions or noise to a minimum and do not dive down with the dolphins.
